About Us

Our Mission:

At Rootera Wellness, our mission is to help individuals and families better understand their bodies so they can take confident, informed steps toward lasting health.

We believe that true wellness begins at the root—not by masking symptoms, but by identifying and addressing the underlying imbalances that affect the whole person.

Why We Exist:

Our philosophy is grounded in working with the body—not against it.

We focus on:

  • Identifying patterns and imbalances

  • Connecting symptoms to underlying causes

  • Supporting the body’s natural ability to heal

Rather than suppressing symptoms, we take a whole-body approach that integrates nutrition, lifestyle, and data-informed insights to create sustainable change.

Future Services:

Rootera Wellness is currently completing advanced certification in functional health and wellness practices, with plans to offer personalized services in the near future.

These services will include:

  • Individualized wellness protocols

  • Lab-informed insights

  • Targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies

These targeted strategies are designed to support the body upstream from the root cause, to stop the downstream side effects.

*Rootera Wellness does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications for disease.

Why I'm here

I’m a wellness coach, educator, and parent of two wonderful children who understands firsthand how challenging it can be to prioritize health while balancing the demands of everyday life. My passion for wellness was shaped through both personal experience and professional work in education and public health.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, where I focused on integrating concepts of Public Health and Education with an emphasis on childhood obesity. In addition, much of my undergraduate coursework centered on pre-nursing sciences, providing me with a strong foundational understanding of how the body works and the connection between lifestyle, nutrition, and overall health.

Through my experiences as both a public and private school educator, along with my own health journey, I saw the need for a realistic and sustainable approach to wellness—one that supports individuals and families without adding more stress or overwhelm.

As I continue expanding my expertise, I am currently pursuing my FDN (Functional Diagnostic Nutrition) certification to further support clients with a holistic, root-cause approach to wellness.

That vision led me to create Rootera Wellness, a wellness protocol program designed to be practical, sustainable, and family-centered. My goal is to help others build healthier lifestyles through simple, achievable habits that fit into real life.
